New website and narrative for a maturing business
Kore Potash is an advanced stage mineral exploration and development company that is incorporated in England and Wales and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, the JSE Limited in South Africa, and AIM. Through the development of the Sintoukola potash basin in the Republic of Congo, Kore Potash is working to bring several globally significant potash deposits into production.
Kore Potash needed a new corporate website to refresh its communication to investor audiences and broader stakeholders in multiple territories. The opportunity provided by potash needed explanation and the company’s sustainability narrative updating, to fully encompass every impact Kore Potash manages. The design of the website had also fallen behind Kore Potash’s peers. It was difficult to navigate, didn’t reflect the company’s commitment to sustainability, and loading speed needed to be optimised.
Working with existing website content and cross-referencing the latest investor presentations, FourthQuarter evolved the structure and navigation of Kore Potash’s website and allocated all content to appropriate sections. The design of the site was thoroughly reviewed, with striking imagery introduced that conveys the communities where Kore Potash works, and what the product, potash is.
Maps and performance charts were also introduced to provide audiences with ready access to company planning and progress information. Certain pages were translated into French, the official language of the Republic of Congo, and a company email alert service was created to support engagement with the local community, investors and stakeholders.
The website was delivered from start to finish during the Covid-19 lockdown, with only one planning workshop and one set of wireframes required to initiate design and build. Kore Potash now has a site that is aligned with its competitors, meets the requirements of multiple listings, works across mobile devices, and presents Kore Potash as a modern, responsible business.
