Technical collaboration and cyber expertise
CAAi is the technical cooperation, consulting and aviation training arm of the UK Civil Aviation Authority. It works with organisations in over 140 countries, assisting them with aviation safety, security and economic regulation.
In 2017, CAAi rebranded to communicate its transition to social enterprise status and the corresponding structural changes to its organisation and services. A new, secure website, that also needed to be optimised for data capture in line with GDPR regulation, was central to the launch of the new brand.
Working with partner B2B advertising agency, MGA, whom we’ve shared office space with for over 10 years, FourthQuarter was technical consultant on the project. We advised the project team on systems that would best protect the website from cyber threats. We were also responsible for the build and technical implementation of the site, working directly with Rackspace, CAAi’s hosting partner.
Team collaboration and risk management was key throughout the project. Programming and testing needed to be completed to a fixed deadline to avoid any downtime and ensure the brand launch went to plan. We successfully delivered the website on schedule and continue to support and monitor the site today.
